When my old OTT needed to be retired for his own wellbeing and mine, I was devastated and left without a jumping horse to take me further in my goals.

What a terrific little horse, he gave me another great ride through the bush today. He is out in front, doesn’t shy, loose rein trot and canter and he has plenty in the tank when we move along a bit more.

I had pretty much given up on the idea of being able to ride with my daughter. Then along came Parrot.

I have been riding for a number of years now having got back into horses after a long break. My current horse I have enjoyed showing and taking out to HRCAV events and rallies but sadly I have had to retire him due to health issues.

After the retirement of my older Three star horse at 19 years old I decided I needed a young horse to add my team.

"To say Billy was a one in a million horse would be an understatement! I still remember a little timid me going and trialing Billy, after breaking my tibia, fibia and growth plate in my left ankle from a bad fall. I was so nervous because I was still recovering and honestly, I was not very trusting of horses for a while.

Wow where do I start with my journey and Murray, the Red Wiggle! Well at 16 years old my parents threw me on a plane to Melbourne to look at a horse (not Wiggles) down at the Friends of Werribee event.

I got Angus when I was 12 years old. He was my first horse (16.1hh) a big step up from my 12hh pony and I haven’t had a single regret.

Con retired from racing in February 2014. He was then rehomed however due to some changes in circumstance for his new owner he was never brought back into work. Fast forward seven years and his previous owner approached myself (Lou) at a jumping day and asked if we could take him on.

Boomer never coped with life at the racing stables. She is a very sensitive mare and struggled to put on weight when she was doing her preps at Cranbourne.
