“I got Angus when I was 12 years old. He was my first horse (16.1hh) a big step up from my 12hh pony and I haven’t had a single regret. During the four years Angus and I have been a pair we have attended pony club and started competing in interschool dressage competitions which took Angus a bit out of his comfort zone. But while dressage has never been Angus’ favourite discipline he has never failed to try to please me in whatever I ask of him. In our time together I have learned a lot with show-jumping becoming a new goal for me and the goal of us learning to trust each other during the intense pressure of competitions being a joint one. Angus has a quirky personality at times but is a lovely placid boy with endearing mannerisms which makes him the loveable horse he is.”
